Products

Plate Load Test (PLT)

  • Used to determine the allowable and ultimate bearing capacity
  • Measures the load-deflection relationship
  • Suitable for pavement, foundation and temporary works platform investigation.
  • Immediate repeatable results so that on-site decisions can be made straight away
  • Meets DIN 18134 and ASTM D1195 / ASTM D1196 standards

Light Weight Deflectometer

  • Compaction control, bearing capacity estimation and investigating in-situ conditions
  • Unbound or partially bound layers (sub-grade, sub-base, base)
  • Measures the deflection and determine stiffness (modulus)

Cone Penetration Test (CPT)

PANDA® Variable Energy DCP (VEDP)

  • Used for compaction control and site investigation
  • Portable method for evaluating soil strength

  • Overcomes traditional DCP rod friction issues
  • Good for testing in challenging conditions (e.g. steeply sloping ground, remote locations, soft and marshy ground, over water or confined spaces).

PANDOSCOPE®

  • PANDOSCOPE® – Coupling of cone resistance vs depth profile with down the hole imagery
  • Rapid image analysis including estimation of the soil grain size distribution and water content allows a qualitative characterisation of soil
  • PANDOSCOPE® is used to calibrate Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data and to provide more information in problem areas.

MIT-SCAN-T3 Asphalt & Concrete Pavement Thickness Test

  • Pavement thickness test – non-destructive test (NDT)
  • Full depth or layer by layer thickness measurement for asphalt, concrete and unbound material
  • Accuracy of the MIT SCAN is ± (0.5% of measured thickness + 1mm).
  • Meets ASTM E3209 / E3209M–20 (2025), EN 12697-36:2022 – TC (Hot Mix Asphalt – HMA) and NZTA P11 – 2023 for Open-Graded Porous Asphalt.

Tie Bar & Dowel Bar Alignment – Concrete

Impact Rolling / High Energy Impact Compaction (HEIC)

  • Cost effective, fast and quantified ground improvement
