For Cone Penetration Testing, the HYSON 200kN pusher on the Midi CPT Crawler is suitable for making cone tests up to about 40 meters (depending on the soil conditions and reaction force).

The HYSON 200kN comes is two formats:

Professional – Hydraulic Push / Pull Clamp and Hydraulic Catch Clamp
Advanced – Mechanical Push / Pull Clamp and Hydraulic Catch Clamp

The hydraulic push/pull clamp facilitiates fast efficient operation including easily changing from 36 mm CPT rods to 56 mm casing tubes.

Four hydraulically operated soil anchors with two hinged anchoring systems provide the required reaction force.

The hydraulic levelling legs provide stability and keep the tracks free from excessive loads during rod extraction.

Even though the crawler is compact, there is still enough space for storage of cones, rods, friction reducers and wrenches. The laptop and data logger are stored in a weather protected cabinet.

Remote control for operating the crawler from a safe distance is standard.

Hydraulic track widening system for more stability during movement (from 1,000 to 1,200 mm)
