We can supply fully fitted CPT trucks but increasingly, we have clients who supply their own locally sourced truck and we supply all the CPT gear (pushers, data acquisition etc). Everything from helping you get clear on your requirements to long term support is what we provide. During the quotation process, your CPT Truck is fully customised to meet your specific operating requirements. All technical specifications, configurations, and optional features are discussed and selected to ensure the CPT Truck is perfectly suited to your operational needs.
A.P. van den Berg’s most popular configuration is the 6×6 CPT Truck, an all-wheel-drive vehicle that excels in power and off-road capability. Thanks to its heavy-duty truck chassis and specially developed subframe, this truck provides outstanding stability and precise control during Cone Penetration Testing (CPTs), even under demanding field conditions.
As standard, our CPT Trucks are equipped with the proven HYSON pushing system, well known for its reliability and robustness in CPT operations. When combined with optional hydraulic pull/push clamp and automatic control, productivity can be increased by up to 10% compared with other systems on the market.
Operation is possible via an user-friendly touchscreen (HMI) or through a hydraulic/mechanical control system, depending on user preference.
The CPT Truck can be equipped with the fully automatic COSON-ST for hands-free CPT or the COSON pusher for continuous CPT operations.
