CPT Trucks with Tracks and Truck Capacity
When the tracks are retracted, the CPT Track-Truck can travel on highways like a conventional truck. In soft, hilly, or challenging terrain, the tracks are lowered, reducing the wheel load by 60 – 70%. This significantly lowers ground pressure, minimizes the risk of getting stuck, and provides increased grip and stability during CPT operations.
Flexible Operation - from the Cabin or Remotely
The CPT Track-Truck can be operated either from the cabin or by remote control. Remote operations enhances safety and precision during CPT activities in urban environments, on construction sites, or in a nature reserve.
Truck Configurations
Truck configurations can be 4×4 or 4×2.
Truck engines can be diesel, hybrid (electric/diesel) or 100% electric. A.P. van den Berg introduced the first hybrid CPT Track-Truck worldwide in early 2021. In hybrid mode, the CPT truck operates on public roads using a diesel engine, while at the project site it can function completely silently and emission-free — both when driving on the tracks and during CPT operations. As a result, the hybrid and fully electric CPT Track-Truck are ideally suited for urban areas, nature reserves, and projects with strict environmental and sustainability requirements.
Choice of Multiple Reliable CPT Pushers
The CPT Track-Truck can be equipped with three CPT pusher systems:

- COSON – Continuous CPTs with high production speed
- COSON-ST – Fully automatic, hands-free CPT operations
The HYSON CPT tower combined with a hydraulic pull/push clamp and automatic control, delivers up to a 10% increase in productivity compared to alternative systems available on the market. All systems are operated intuitively via a user-friendly Human–Machine Interface (HMI).
