Last week was an exciting one for Insitutek as we took part in two major geotechnical events across New Zealand!
The highlight was the first-ever NZGS In Situ Testing Workshop on 15 October, a full-day workshop with expert presentations and live field demonstrations, where participants actively engaged with the sessions, asked questions, and explored techniques they can use in their projects.
Following the workshop, the NZ Geotechnical Society Symposium 2025 ran from 15–18 October in Auckland. Insitutek joined as an exhibitor, connecting with geotechnical professionals from across the country. The symposium offered valuable insights into the latest developments in soil and pavement testing and provided opportunities for knowledge sharing across the industry.
Both events ran smoothly, with structured sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and time for discussion and networking. It was a valuable week to share our expertise, learn from other professionals, and see new techniques in action.
Events like these highlight the importance of practical learning and collaboration in improving how projects are designed, tested, and managed in the field. We’re already looking forward to bringing the next generation of tools and techniques to future workshops and symposiums!
